My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Busted

So, good things to come! I won a bottle of OPI Black Spotted off of Ebay!
It is a France exclusive in their Spiderman collection.
So as soon as it arrives I will get some pictures on here!

I have been so busy lately I am so surprised that I have been posting as often as I have, which is not often at all compared to some other bloggers. I am always painting my nails though, so I am building up a little archive. Soon I will have enough to have a bunch of scheduled posts ready and will be able to post more often :)

This is a mani I played around with when my sister was visiting.

Of course this is with one of the new Bundle Monster stamps because I am obsessed!

Polish
OPI- My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Sinful Colors- Black on Black
Pure Ice- Busted

Tools
plate BM-318

I left the accent nail matte because I am really liking this matte to shiny contrast look lately...

What do you think? Do you ever leave your nails half matte? Are you excited for Black Spotted?

Meg Stamped

So my sister and I went to Ulta the other day. It was tons of fun and nice to have some girly time and pick out some new polishes. We noticed that a lot of brands were buy 2 get 1 free, including Zoya! Plus I remembered that I had a coupon for 15% off of the entire purchase in my car. So each polish was about $4.55, what a deal!

I noticed that there was one lonely bottle on a restocking cart from the Zoya Surf collection so I snatched it! There was no other bottle from the Surf or Beach collection in the entire store, Believe me I looked! This bottle was meant for me.

This is Zoya Meg. She is beautiful.
Since I am also currently obsessed with the new Bundle Monster plates they were used too.
What is better than one new image? Two new images!
Sometimes less is more, but not this time. I was unhappy with my first stamp so I added another.

I first stamped with the new "water marble" image, then when that was not exciting enough I added the butterfly image.

I liked how the stamp was semi-matte, so I left it like that :)

Polishes
Zoya-Meg
Revlon- Metallic
Konad- Black Pearl

Tools
BM-320
BM-307

What do you think of Meg?

On a side note while I was in Ulta I noticed a display with "Ulta Exclusive" OPIs, this would have been really cool but it seemed like every color had been taken out of previous collections and renamed... I know OPI has a habit of this but these were pretty recent and well known collections. I didn't buy any of these but there were dupes from a lot of the Pirates of the Caribean collection and a dupe for "Last Friday Night" and "Not Like the Movies" from Katy Perry. I wasn't sure if I should be annoyed because OPI was trying to pull a fast one on us or snatching up some colors from collections that I may have missed out on? What do you think? Annoying or second chance?

TIOT Reclaim

This is a short and sweet little post.
For this week's Try It On Tuesday I pulled a swatch from my very small vault.
This is Nubar's Reclaim. It is a green holo!

I never thought I would like this but Reclaim is so beautiful with its subtle linear holo.
I've had this for a while but haven't worn it until now and I can't figure out why!

What do you think? What is your favorite color for holo polishes?

Ruby Pumps + New Bundle Monster Plates!

I received my new Bundle Monster plates today!
I was already wearing China Glaze Ruby Pumps so I went ahead and stamped on it with my new plates!
This is plate BM-317

These stamps are awesome! I have so many ideas for these plates!

Another picture of the glittery shine of Ruby Pumps because it is so pretty!

What do you think of these new plates?

I've got Fuchsia Fever!

Hey ladies! this is a new polish by Maybelline, it's from their new Color Show Collection. It's called Fuchsia Fever. It's a medium pink, that is kind of a jelly, but then it dries almost matte. It is a very confusing polish... any who, I then stamped it with Cheeky jumbo plate C and Funky Fingers Down to Earth. At first I didn't really like this color, but after stamping on it I loved this mani and got so many compliments, it made my hands feel pretty!

I love how crisp and clean these plates stamp!

On a side note I ordered the new Bundle Monster plates! Should be here in a few days!

Try It On Tuesday: Other Worldly Glitter Envy

So, Jasmine at MixedMama informed me that Tuesdays are now
Try It On Tuesdays!
This is wonderful. It's when create a mani using one of your untried polishes.
I know it sounds silly but sometimes I have trouble trying my new polishes because I have so many old favorites, and ideas for manis for my old favorites.

So for my first Tuesday I am going to show you 2 of my untried polishes that have been sitting in my Melmer for months!
This is Color Club's Glitter Envy and Other Worldly
They are two very strange glitter polishes, because they are not sparkly.
I know that sounds like a crime, but they are oddly intriguing to look at...

I had to layer these over Sally Hanson's White on bc they are some of those pesky, wonderful neons.

These look awesome, although they might not be Color Club's best formula.
They were a bit thin and flooded the cuticles a bit, and were a pain to clean up after.
Still I like the brightness of them and will definitely use them again, maybe just for an accent next time.

What do you think? What are you wearing for TIOT?
Any polishes that you love to hate?

Metallic, Cheeky Mermaid Tears

Hey guys! Sorry for my little absence :(
I have had a lot going on work-wise and home-wise.
Plus I have been feeling a little uninspired, but that has not stopped me from painting my nails!
I got some new polishes and some new stamping plates!
SO EXCITING!
I just bought 3 of the Cheeky Jumbo Plates off of Amazon.
These plates are huge! There are at least 48 images on each plate.
This is made with plate C
These stamp so well it is ridiculous, look at that detail!
