Tardy Tart

Hello!
So I have been seeing the brand Sation a lot.
Then I saw a fellow blogger use the color Tardy Tart and I knew I had to have it.
I tracked down an e-tailer who sold this brand and I bought it :)

Polishes
OPI- Nail Envy Base Coat
Sation- Tardy Tart
Konad- Black Pearl
Seche Vite Top Coat

Stamping Plate- BM-314

This stamp is wonderful. The image is nice and deep and all the little lines stamped so crisp and clear.

I love this color! It is so bright it's almost neon. This polish is so opaque it is almost a one coater and it applied like a dream. Since it is so pigmented I think it might me able to stamp...

No More Film, A Show at the Palladium

So I don't usually wear gold, but this little polish has me singing a different tune.
This gold is beautiful and it stamps well!
On top of all of that it is cheap and can be found in a drug store.
For this NOTD I used Essie's No More Film with Wet n Wild's A Show at the Palladium for the accent nails and the stamping, plate Mash-46. I felt like it need a little extra so I fished out some of the large glitter pieces from Essie's A Cut Above for the middles of the flowers.

What do you think?
Silver or Gold?
I might be changing my mind!

Ultra Violet

Hello holo!
I love holographic nail polishes. I own quite a few and rumors are China Glaze and Color Club are going to release holo collections this year! As my 4 year old says "I'm so exciting!"
(he really says that, he's 4 so its cute)
Whats better than holographic polish?
Purple holographic polish!
Today I have Layla Hologram Effects in #04 Ultra Violet
I had to travel outside the light box for these pics!

3 coats over Nfu-Oh Aqua Base no topcoat

This is what it looks like not in direct light, still a tiny bit of holo heaven

So pretty!
What do you think? What is your favorite holographic polish or brand?
I've been thinking about swatching and comparing all my holos, should I?

Zuza and Rory

Hey guys. How is every one's week going? Mine is pretty good, I've gotten some good nail mail this week...
I heard about an online coupon for Zoya, if you bought a 6 piece collection you received 50% off!
A $48 collection for $24, I'm in. I chose the new Surf collection (mainly for Zuza and Carly)
Then because if your order was $30 or more you received free shipping, I added on Crystal :)
They also sent me a free 2oz. bottle of Zoya Remove+ (can't wait to try it) and their swatch book!

My Haul
For some reason Meg shined pink in direct sunlight and I was too excited to notice at the time.
Yes, I have a second bottle of Meg, but she is so pretty I don't care!

I decided to use two of these pretties right off the bat!
This is Zuza and Rory (gradient on the  accent nail) with stamp MASH-43
(yes I received the new Mash plates this week as well!)
with Nail Envy as a base coat and SV on top.

I also broke a nail this week, guess which one? For some reason my middle nail is my problem nail.
The nail bed is shorter than the rest, so even though all of my other nails are filed down as well it still looks like one short nail and the rest are long... oh well.

Show It and Glow It

I have been lusting after this polish since I saw it a year ago on Chloe's Nails.
She is the very first nail blogger that I found and inspired me to really get into nail art.
Sadly she has not been blogging for the last couple months but she is out enjoying life, so I am happy for her. Even though she hasn't been posting lately her archive of nails is amazing!
She is a scotch tape queen and is so precise in everything she does!
Check her out. Seriously.

Onto the polish. This lovely gem is from OPI's Burlesque collection from 2010.
This swatch is two coats over one coat of OPI Kiss Me on My Tulips and no topcoat.

The glitter in this is teeny, tiny, fine pink sparkles with larger multicolor pieces.
This could be applied on its own without a solid color underneath, but I find glitters stay on better if you have something sturdier than base coat under it.

I might have to compare this to Sally Hanson's Rockstar Pink...

NYX Ink Heart

So, when I used this polish last week I said it made me want to do a glitter sandwich and I couldn't help myself, I had to do it!
This jelly polish is just so pretty that I had to pick an equally beautiful glitter to match it.
I chose OPI's Servin' Up Sparkle.
This is one coat of Ink Heart, one coat Servin, another Ink Heart, the stamp and a coat of SV

I stamped on it with one of the new Bundle Monster plates BM-305 and Revlon Metallic
I love that silver glitter polish for stamping it is my go-to silver!

A close up shot with flash. I know that this washes out my already pale skin but it gives you guys a good look at that glitter!

Coming soon... I finally found the package I've been waiting for at my door...
OPI Black Spotted!!!

Butterfly or Fairy?

Hmmm....
This mani started off as a butterfly but it might be a fairy.
I started off with Color Club's Pucci-licious.
Then I sponged on some Zoya Mimi for some extra sparkle.
Then with Art Deco's black and silver striper and a dotting tool to make the butterfly wings.
I added some China Glaze Fairy Dust to give it a little extra pizzazz!
This is all topped off with SV.

I love the sparkly part where Mimi and Fairy Dust mix!

Which do you think it is? Butterfly? Fairy?

TIOT: I Just Spotted the Lizard with Ink Heart

I realized that I have missed a few Try It On Tuesdays...
I'm really not sure what happened maybe Tuesdays don't exist in my world :-)

So I used a new polish with an older one. Here I have NYX's Ink Heart which is a beautiful blue jelly. This polish has that squishy jelly look that makes you think about sandwiches, jelly-glitter sandwiches ;-)
I pulled out the scotch tape and added OPI's Just Spotted The Lizard from the new Spiderman collection.

Movin' Out

Hey guys! Today I have a polish that is so hard to photograph!
It is OPI Movin' Out. I have it here over Sinful's Black on Black.
This polish is a beautiful multichrome and I have not done it justice here,
It shifts from purple to pink to gold to green.
You need three hands to photograph this polish!
I think I am going to get the hubby to help me take a better pic of this :-)

Then I added a stamp with one of Bundle Monster's new plates BM-314 and Revlon Metallic

July 4th!

So unfortunately I have to work today, but 2 1/2 times the pay almost makes up for it.
So I have been sick lately and I haven't had time to make a proper Independence day mani so I threw something together this morning.

I will update later on what polish and stamps were used here.

How is your 4th going?
